Ray Yeargin Abstract Art Gallery

About me, site info

Hello. My name is Ray Yeargin and I am your host here. I'm a programmer and a system administrator. I've also spent a lot of time on game design, cryptography, and computer-generated art. I recently played a lot of World of Warcraft as (mostly) a Tauren Druid. I developed this website and wrote the code that drives it.

I also wrote the programs that generated all of the images you see here. Most of the code was developed in the mid 1990's but I still work on it regularly. All of my art code is written in the C language and includes no graphics or font libraries or related support functions.

Although the original images shown on these pages were rendered at the size of 2000x2000 pixels, the examples on the website are 500x500. Render time of very large images is quite slow -- and closely proportional to the image area.

In the future, I plan to experiment with much larger images and high-quality printing technologies.

If you'd like to look at small thumbnails of all of my images at once, you can go straight to the front page of my modern art clothing store or my modern art T-shirt store.
